Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20/07/2026
This privacy policy is intended to inform users of the Prorata App application about how their data is processed.
1. Personal data
The App requires no account and asks for no identity data (name, surname, email address or phone number).
The data you enter in the App (budgets, expenses, people) stays on your device and is never transmitted.
The only data transmitted is technical data, processed by the third-party services described in section 2. Some of it — in particular the IP address and an installation identifier — may constitute personal data within the meaning of the GDPR, without however allowing you to be directly identified.
2. Technical data and third-party services
Firebase Crashlytics (Google)
Used to detect crashes and improve the stability of the App.
- Data: crash information, device model, operating-system version, IP address and installation identifier.
- Purpose: diagnosing and fixing errors.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest (ensuring the proper operation and security of the App).
- Opt-out: you can disable this collection at any time in Settings → Privacy → “Send crash reports”.
Firebase Remote Config (Google)
Used to configure the App remotely (for example to signal that an update is required).
- Data: installation identifier and IP address, transmitted when fetching the configuration.
- Purpose: configuration and maintenance of the App.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest (providing the service).

TelemetryDeck
TelemetryDeck is used to measure overall usage of the App in an anonymous and privacy-respecting way.
TelemetryDeck:
- collects no personal data
- allows no individual tracking of users
- uses no advertising identifier
- performs no profiling
The data collected is aggregated and anonymised, and used solely to improve the App.

Transfer outside the European Union
Firebase Crashlytics and Remote Config are provided by Google LLC (United States); the corresponding data may be transferred to the United States. This transfer is governed by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google is certified. TelemetryDeck hosts its data within the European Union.
3. Use of the data
The technical data collected is used exclusively to:
- understand the general operation of the App
- fix bugs
- improve the user experience
No data is sold, shared for commercial purposes or used for advertising purposes.
4. Data retention
Technical data is kept only for as long as necessary for its analysis, in accordance with the policies of the third-party services used.
5. Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have a right of access, rectification, erasure and objection regarding your data.
In particular, you can object to the collection of crash reports directly in the App, via Settings → Privacy → “Send crash reports”.
