Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These Terms of Use (hereinafter the “Terms”) set out the conditions for using the mobile application Prorata App (hereinafter the “App”).

The purpose of the App is to help calculate expenses pro rata.

Any use of the App implies full and complete acceptance of these Terms.

2. Access to the App

The App is available free of charge from a compatible mobile device.

The publisher reserves the right to develop, modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the App, temporarily or permanently, without notice.

3. Use of the App

The user undertakes to use the App in accordance with its purpose and with applicable laws.

The information and results provided by the App are given for guidance only. The publisher does not guarantee the absolute accuracy of the results and cannot be held responsible for any misinterpretation or misuse of them.

4. Data and third-party services

The App requires no account and asks for no identity data. It does, however, use third-party services for technical purposes, which process minimal technical data (including the IP address and an installation identifier):

• Firebase Crashlytics (Google), to detect crashes and improve the stability of the App. This collection can be disabled in the App's settings.
• Firebase Remote Config (Google), to configure the App remotely (for example to signal that an update is required).
• TelemetryDeck (hosted in the European Union), to measure overall usage of the App in an anonymous and aggregated way.

The terms relating to data, the legal basis (legitimate interest) and transfers outside the European Union are detailed in the Privacy Policy.

5. Intellectual property

The App, its content, its interface and all the elements that make it up are protected by intellectual property law.

Any unauthorised reproduction, modification or use is prohibited.

6. Liability

The publisher does everything possible to ensure the proper operation of the App, but cannot be held responsible for interruptions, malfunctions or damage resulting from its use.

7. Changes to the Terms

These Terms may be modified at any time. The applicable version is the one in force at the time the App is used.
